Description of Classes

MOM & TOT

Classes are 30 minute classes for girls and boys ages 12 – 36 months. Classes are designed to teach basic motor skills including gripping the bars, swinging, climbing, sliding, balance, jumping, and body awareness. Parents and caregivers also participate in this class.

PRESCHOOL

Classes are 45 minute classes designed for girls and boys age 3 years to 5 years. Classes are designed to further develop basic motor skills and beginner gymnastics skills in a setting without a parent or guardian.

RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS

Classes are 55 minute classes and are designed for girls ages 4 years and older. Classes are designed to develop strength and flexibility, and beginner level gymnastics skills. Class divisions include Beginner and Level 1 classes.

ADVANCED RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS

Level 2 classes are designed as an introduction to the skills for the beginning levels of our competitive program. The program focuses on more form, technique, and body position for the gymnast. This class is designed for those that are interested in the competition program OR advanced gymnast that have more that 2 years expirence. This class is limited to students that are recommended by their instructors.

TUMBLE 1

Classes are designed as an introduction to tumbling and includes backbends, backbend kickovers, handstands, rolls (forward and backward), cartwheels, round-off, and beginning backhandsprings.

TUMBLE 2

Classes are geared toward teaching standing and running backhandsprings, series backhandsprings, and back tucks.
